Not much of a fishing report but I think we need to post some stuff. Went to Big Snowbird last week with high expectations but once again it decided to RAIN. Every time I go to Snowbird the rain gods pay me a huge visit. I just cant seem to catch a break when I go to this area. At least I did get one day with no rain and seen lots of beautiful scenery but spent all this time looking for our cabin in TN.

The drought of the last couple years has definitely left the building. What's left of Ida hit here just after midnight and looks like we are in for 4 or 5 days of heavy rain. Might just have to get the yak out one last time.

Rain on Snowbird?? Who would have thunk it?

Streams are flowing around here like I haven't seen them in YEARS. It does my heart good to see that.

Brad, I can't believe you went to Snowbird and didn't call me. I probably couldn't have gone, but still...

Yeah, that trip didn't exactly pan out like we wanted it to, but it's one we'll never forget... I guarantee.

Sassafrass has been calling my name ever since I first crossed it in bare feet with a 72lb pack on my back.

I think that was a 22lb pack and a 50lb skillet!

Wes, sorry I didn't call you to go to Snowbird, but you didn't miss a thing. Me and Jason drove up to Tellico Plains and stayed in a cabin and then had a brilliant idea to fish SnowBird from the top off the Skyway. Boy was that a great idea, besides the hurricane force winds and 3 to 4 inches of rain in a couple of hours, the trip was a bust.
