Tying Instructions:
1. Tie thread onto hook shank from eye back to bend then back to hook point. 2. Apply dubbing to thread and wrap the abdomen in a "ball" from bend up to hook point. 3. Clip a few deer hairs (3 or 4 hairs) and tie in at mid shank of hook. Pull the thread tight around the deer hair so that it "splays" out. 4. Make thread wraps to position the deer hair off the side of the hook shank pointing downward at a slight angle. Clip ends of hair to desired length. 5. Apply dubbing to thread and wrap the head into a ball in front of the deer hair up to just behind the hook eye. 6. Whip finish or half hitch the head 3 or 4 times and clip thread from hook. 7. Apply small amount of head cement on thread at tie off point.
