Tying Instructions:
1. Tie on thread to hook from eye back to bend. 2. Clip small peice of ultra chenille and burn end with lighter. 3. Tie on chenille off back of hook shank so that burnt end hangs off bend less than a hook gap length. 4. Wrap thread over chenille that remains on hook shank, then run thread back to tie in point of chenille. 5. Tie on individual moose hairs on the side of the hook shank at the bend (2 each side). The butt ends make the legs of the caddis crawling out of its case. 6. Wrap thread over shank of hook to create a tapered body down to just behind hook eye. 7. Coat thread with head cement over the hook shank. 8. Thread should be just behind hook eye at this point. Tie in a peacock herl and wrap 3 or 4 times behind eye. Tie off and clip excess. 9. Whip finish between herl and hook eye and clip thread from hook. Head cement thread cut off point. 10. Go outside and get small amount of "driveway dirt". 11. With a bodkin, coat thread over hook shank with a good amount of hard head fly finish. 12. Take some of the driveway dirt and sprinkle it on the hard head so that it creates a rock case around the hook shank. 13. Allow hard head to dry 10-15 minutes.
